We all know Ortega can absorb some heavy shots. He got oustruck in pretty much every fight he won except Edgar's.
Him catching Holloway out of nowhere with some quick TD or sub is real. Holloway's TDD and defensive BJJ is not 100%, he had openings and utilize enough of kicking game for that, plus he doesn't mind to close the distance.
However, Holloway has very underrated weapon he used against Aldo: working on body with punches, knees and middle kicks to beat the gas tank out of his opponent.
Ortega often relies on his durability to survive to later rounds and be a fresher fighter/Hail Mary chance increasing. With Holloway game, he won't be as active in the 3rd as he was against other opponents.
So, how is Ortega's defense against body strikes?
