If Nick Diaz doesn't get starched early, he will beat the fuck out of Woodley.

Woodleys cardio is known to fail him in the later rounds.

I don't think he can keep up with Nick's output and will get boxed up for the last 3 rounds.

If he can't KO Nick early I don't think he can LnP him for 5 rounds to a victory.

Yeah, let's give Nick Diaz a title shot. His last win was in 2011, back when he beat a fat lightweight. Fuck, why don't we give the shot to Matt Hughes? Big name at welterweight, 0-2 in his last two, last win in 2010. Not far from Diaz.

Takedown, control, round ends. Takedown, control, round ends. Takedown, control, round ends. Takedown, control, gas, round ends. Attempt takedowns, fail, get peppered, get slapped, back away trying to defend, survive, round ends. UD Woodley.

I'd have no issues watching Hughes get smacked about one more time.

WB deserves the TS, but Woodley v Diaz would be a good fight. Woodley would bring a storm the first couple rounds and win it.

This thread isn't about whether he deserves it or not, its about discussing the potential stylistic matchup.

I do think Diaz works Tyron late after starting slow in the first two rounds, but in no uncertain terms does Diaz deserve to prove as much right now.

Easy fight for Woodley if he just run 10 miles a day for a month.

It is a possibility for sure. Diaz brothers do good against gassers due to their cardio and resilience. But Nick shouldn't fight for a title any time soon.
