Nate has been semi-retired for the last 5 years since he KO’d Maynard. He’s more focused on triathalons, bicycle rides, and smoking copious amounts of weed with his homies. He finished Conor with no training camp and coming off the beach in Mexico 10 days prior to UFC 196. Conor then bragged about his training camp for the rematch, saying things like people would study it for years to come. Nate comes in the same way as always, not checking leg kicks and brawling with no strategy. Fight ends up as a majority decision 48-47, 48-47, 47-47. I think it’s safe to say Conor is more obsessed and dedicated to being the best ever. How would their third fight go if Nate tried as hard to evolve and develop his game?
