If Nate Diaz smoked yesterday could he pass a test in 2 weeks?

That's probably why he won't take the fight

Yes, especially if he's cutting weight, doing a lot of cardio and flushing a lot of water out of his body.

Nick has said that he's cleaned himself out with 10 days to go before.

Its certainly possible with the amount of cardio those 2 do.

Nick has also been busted three times for weed.... so doing things the "Nick Diaz Way" may not be the best approach.

Weed adds up in your system, you know. Say he did it yesterday and the day before, it's already doubled, and it lingers. So now imagine what one week of nearly everyday weed smoking will add up to. Yeah, I don't think Diaz will make it, realistically.

Not really sure. I beat a test once about 20 years ago by drinking water around the clock for 3 days, but that's not really an option for a fighter.

Doesn't really matter though. He wouldn't get popped until after the fight and even with fines it'd be, by far, the biggest payday of his life.

What is a simple fine to change ya bum life money?

Who doesn't think the USADA would be there the day after the fight was signed? Remember, they can do that now.

If he smoked just once, a few days could do it. If he smoked more than that, he'd need at least two weeks with his size, routine, and metabolism. If he smokes on the reg, maybe over a month.

The USADA would test him but results wouldn't be back for a month. Fight would go on, and the glory of beating Conor and the paycheck would set him up for life(if he didn't save as bad as Conor).

The ACs have raised the levels pretty high these days. It's not nearly as high as it used to be "50 ng/mL to 150 ng/mL" - However if he's holding a lot of fat and starts cutting weight he may continually release a lot of THC metabolites into his system nonstop. I'd say it would be close if he was a chronic smoker for years. I wouldn't dare bet one way or the other. I think given the $$ that is to be made on this fight that the UFC would have something in place to try and help him flush his system.

Or they can just let them fight, and if Nate wins and fails a drug test Conor gets a NC instead of a loss and the UFC wins!

Lorenzo will make sure he passes

You get me?

It depends on if he's been smoking every single day for the past 2 weeks.

While this is true, a daily couch potato smoker could clean himself out by just not smoking for a month or two.

Someone like Diaz who trains every day, drinks a lot of water and does tons of cardio and has very little body fat could definitely clean himself out within 2 weeks, even if he's been smoking every day for months.

In fact weed EXPONENTIALLY adds up in your system. That's why Diaz is high 24/7 even without puffing on marijuanas.

What if they test his hair?

Just hanging with his brother he'd breath in enough second-hand smoke to fail tests. :D

This.

No I'm pretty sure when Healy popped for weed he said it was like ...I think it was around 3 weeks or a month before the fight
