If Mousasi Loses to Munoz

I doubt he'd get cut seeing as he got 2 main events in a row
Was actually 3 main events as he headlined the Sweden card vs. Latifi, and beyond this he was booked to fight Gus before he got a cut in sparring and the Swedish commission wouldn't let him fight.

1-2 in UFC against the best fighters you've faced doesn't look great sure but I would be quite surprised if he didn't get at least one more fight.

He hasn't impressed me at all and did nothing against Machida apart from follow him around throwing weak jabs and getting punched in the face...I think Munoz will take comfortably

No he probably won't but Munoz should retire of he loses, especially if he gets finished. I am scared for that dude's health.

That said, he still probably won't ever be champ. He's almost 29, and has had a ton of injury issues. It's hard to imagine him staying healthy, motivated, and putting it all together on a consistent basis at this point.
Mousasi is weird cause he seems to do best when he fights a LOT (i.e. 5-7x in one year), but then he gets hurt and can't fight for like 5 billion years... missed out on all of 2012 and most of 2013 too. >_<

He did beat OSP, and im more impressed by OSP than Munoz

Its funny how people watch the same fight but see different things..I thought mousasi-machida was alot closer than some people said..Machida won but Gegard gave it as good as he got it in the damage department. He was finally catching Lyoto with combinations in the champ. rounds..too little-too late but I thought he made a good account for himself with all things considered.( so did Dana White)..

..and if u think Munoz takes this easily then he's plus +260 in Vegas..go for it.

Great post.

You sound brilliant.

He'll get a quiet escort out w Fight Night Idahoe: Mousasi vs Illir II

Is it safe to say he will never be a champ ?

I expect nothing else than a easy dismantle of Munoz.

As a moose fan if he loses to Munoz i will be truly dissapointed

Still belive in Mousasi as a MW champ

I'd agree with that... If he loses to Munoz he will move WAAY down the MW ranks, which all of a sudden have gotten pretty crowded with Vitor, Chael, Machida and possibly Anderson returning. Actually, now that I think about it, Luke Rockhold and Jacare are possible contenders also (although probably at least a fight away).

This is a risky fight for him because a win won't really change his position much but a loss will cost him big. They should have set him up against Jacare or Rockhold... that would tell us a lot about both guys.

then I will gladly bump a few threads with people saying he would school Machida.

But I dont see Munoz winning. Unless Mousasi comes with a ''I dont give a fuck'' attitude and gets taken down easily and content to stay on his back landing short elbows that score damage but wont win him the fight.

Safe to say he will never be champ regardless of the outcome against Munoz.

Well, he also seems to do best when he's fighting scrubs in Japan...

Valid point... I have and still have a hard time deciding where he ranks because he has had so few fights against legit competition

He needs to move to 170 then if he can't beat Mark the filipino wrecked chin Munoz.
