Do you think UFC should use footage of Conor throwing the dolly as promotion? and why?
"HEATED RIVALRY, OOOHHH" Good question, they'd certainly bring more eyes atleast, but maybe they want to paint their fighter well too.
yeah sure, but start that segment of the promo cut with khabib threatening artem in the hotel to show what triggered that set of events.
It doesnt really matter what we sherdoggers think or what is morally correct or not
The reality is, it'll be used and i see no argument against why it shouldnt be used
Does any1 here do draftkings? sherdog has an mma group going and we do a 15 person event every PPV and a 10 person event every regular event. 10 dollar winner take all for 10 person events and top 2 get paid for 15 person events? well anyway we got 13 open spots. any1 want to join?
"If" is the keyword.
Of course they will use that. They'll do all they can to hype the "rivalry".
Nothing like criminal activity to hype up a fight
Not sure if I think they "should", but I would be surprised if they don't.
Controversy sells in this age.
They used the footage of Jones choke-slamming DC off stage...
I'm not sure but there is a good chance
maybe they will even mention that Conor had a boxing match with Floyd, who knows?
Lol at threatening. Intimidating, maybe, but threaten?
Things we would be expected to see in the promo
Is it even a question that they will? Of course they're going to. They should, too. Why delete one of the biggest aspects of the drama surrounding a fight when you're promoting it?
I don't have a strong position and I'm not sure if you guys are acting ignorant in attempts to belittle the reasons UFC shouldn't. But I'll do this anyways..
He committed a crime, UFC promotes it, they make a lot of money.
MMA fighters are notoriously smart.
Some guy is going to add those together and attempt to top it. It's possibly dangerous and unhealthy for their business and fighters.
If UFC were to not promote it themselves, they can't stop other media sources from doing so, it would send a message.
They already showed it on one of the UFC Embedded episodes for 223, literally just days after it happened. It's practically a given that they'll promote it as part of the fight itself.
