Conor v khabib II will definitely happen if Conor doesn't take a bad loss in his fight. It is the match to match for ratings/$$$ because of that UFC will make it happen. Tony winning makes it a certainty as a title eliminator.
Poor Gajie left out in the cold but as impressive as some of his wins are, his had some disappointing losses. His a perfect fight night main event currently.

And if Conor wins the Tony fight, which he will in my opinion, yours may vary, but if he wins.... then Khabib is in the awkward, unpleasant, karma type situation where he has to ask Conor for a rematch

Pretty sure Khabib will pull a Ronda after Tony beats him. That would be pretty poetic though if Conor gives him the rematch after and KOs Khabib for his second straight loss and puts him into retirement. It would be eerily similar to the Rousey story.

This picture shows a punch square in the middle of the face and it didn't knock him down. Is Conor that tough to just eat this punch or is Khabib's punch that weak that it didn't drop Conor with such a solid punch like this?Conor could win the title in the extremely unlikely scenario you present.

What does that have to do with the picture I referenced? Also, he got hit right on the button and got right back up. The same question for that punch since you want to switch to that one. Is Conor's chin that tough to take a square shot right on the button and take a knee then get right back up or was Khabib's punch that weak that he can throw all of his bodyweight into a punch and barely knock him down while Justin Gaethje is tapping people and knocking them out? Khabib hit Conor flush and he got right back up. Khabib is the best grappler and he'll beat Conor because of grappling no doubt.

Khabib will keep beating people in front of him and Conor will likely abandon the belt if he ever wins it back.
Getting stripped a 3rd time because we all know he doesn't want to fight Khabib, he simply wants to be champion.
If Conor was a true warrior and a real man, he'd ask to fight Khabib regardless of Tony winning the fight. He knows Tony matches up better stylistically, but Khabib is his kryptonite. But he doesn't want to prove or test himself, as we've seen.
Well all know Conor won't fight Khabib unless he absolutely has to.

Dude, fuck the talking stuff, the promoting etc etc, you're talking about an elite level talent in Conor McGregor.

I mean Khabib clearly has the upper hand, he clearly beat him etc etc. That's undeniable.
But to think that Conor is somehow afraid or whatever that's just not real. These people are fighters on an elite level. They take that pressure and fuck it in the ass.
Same goes for Khabib if he loses the rematch. You think he'll be afraid, or dishonored or some shit? Nah, dude, he gets back in the gym and just gets ready for the next challenge.
There are fighters, and then there guys like Khabib, Conor, Masvidal, Ferguson, Nate... they are just natural world eaters.
