If Jones/Gus II goes down in Stockholm it will be the biggest UFC event ever.

That shit will feel like Pride. For those who aren't familiar with the globe stadium, it's fucking baller.

And not to mention it will be the most anticipated rematch, in my opinion, in the history of the sport. I've never seen such a close, controversial title fight where both guys were fucking savages.

Not to mention the lingering questions... Is Gus still in Jones' head?

Will the Young Lion still find a way to perservere and show why he's really the champ?

Or will the Viking's boxing make the difference?

Or will Jones be mentally shook and crying after a 5 round war like before?

Just too fucking excited. If it goes to a rubbermatch I'll fucking die.

EDIT: NM, I thought the Globe had a much bigger capacity. Either way, with such a small capacity there's no way it could be considered the biggest UFC event ever.

I like your bias of showing JBJ all busted up but not showing Gus busted up. And oh BTW, Gus was crying after that fight too.

Anyway. I think JBJ torches Gus in a rematch and ends this "Viking" hype.

They should go back to the Rogers Centre. Neutral grounds.

  8. Gus didnt look too bad. Jones looked like he tried to steal honey from the bees.

Is there enough interest in Sweden to fill the arena though? I have no idea what the fan base is like, but Id be shocked if it was bigger than 129.

Doubt it. Just because the arena is big doesn't mean it will sell out.

Probably will, since Scandinavian MMA fans are very nationalistic. Put a bunch of Swedes on the card and they'll be there.

about Gus-Jon rematch.I got many questions that'll be answered come fight night:
Will Jon focus more on wrestling?
Will Gus use muy thai or kickboxing instead of boxing Jon like he did in their first match?
Will Jon resort to eye-poking and sundry limb destruction techniques.
How will Gus react? Will he fight dirty too?
I cannot predict the winner but I know for a fact that the fight will be amazing!

The Globe isnt that big in comparison to arenas that have ufc events. i was actually there for gus/silva awesome atmosphere, as much as people think swedes love Alex they love him more. Even back then way before jones there was just something crazy in the air when he was about to walk out.

Anyway the stadium that were being talked about for the rematch were tele2 arena (30-40k capacity) which is right next to the globe or Friends arena (50-65k).

    I don't like JBJ.
I'm just stating facts that you left out purposely to discredit him.

The owners of the Friends Arena have already stated their interest in having the rematch there. It will definitely be the biggest event in Scandinavian MMA history and will open the floodgates to that market!
