Imagine this scenario...

Bones brutally TKOs DC, then stands over his lifeless body taunting

What does Cain do?? I can see him charging into the Ocatgon with a steel chair.

For serious, do you think Cain would consider dropping down? Demand a catchweight fight? We know DC and Cain are good buds. There's really not much left for him at HW.

This could be the fight that finally makes the UFC bigger than soccer and does at least 3 billion buys.

If he wants to cut a ton of weight to go mess with Jones it's his mistake.. But he usually needs like 12-14 months off after every fight..

Cain is in a different world. He has nothing to win by beating a lesser fighter

UFC wouldn't let them fight unless one of them vacated their belt, so Cain would have to vacate his title and go LHW if he wanted to fight Jones, which he's not about to do.

If Jones beats DC, it may only be a matter of time before he comes up to HW looking for a fight with Cain anyway. Also, I don't see Cain as the Cowboy Cerrone type to try and drop down a weight class and avenge his bf.

Cain could make LHW pretty easy I imagine, he's one of the smaller HW. I would bet there are LHW fighters near identical to his weight on fight night.

It's too big a cut for Cain, but JJ could conceivably move up to HW if that fight were to happen. I'd watch it.

I think if Bones beats Cormier, then he more than likely moves up to heavyweight, since he's pretty much mopped up the entire LHW line-up.

Just to put it in perspective there are LW fighters who put on 30 pounds after weigh in fighting in the 180's. There are WW fighters who weigh in at 170 and are 200+ on fight night. Anyone thinking Cain can't do a LHW weight cut don't know much.

Hilarious thread title!

I could picture Cain going in the Octagon after the Jones/Cormier fight (If Cormier loses) and looking at Dana in the eye and saying "I want Jones"

Jon would piss his pants..

Cain isn't dropping to 205. If Jones beats DC, which I'm not sure will happen, then Cain probably won't have to wait all that long before Jones comes up to heavyweight.

I think you meant Cain "Anchor Baby" Valawhatever

HAHA

Nah, Jones has already stated he wants Gus after Cormier.

Jones wants to beat Anderson's title defense record.

He's not interested in HW at this time.

Moot whole point is moot.

DC murders Eyepoker.

It's been a while since Jones TKO'd someone.

Cain however TKOs most guys he faces.

Will be a fun fight one day of Bones cleans out LHW and moves up.

As long as Cain is the HW champ, not a chance he would drop. If he took a year off to lose a ton of muscle, he could make LHW but then he'd need another year off to bulk up and defend his HW title

I want to see Jones shit himself when he is facing Junior across the Octagon!
