True but I don't see what Imavov can do about it. Immy is alright but the clash of styles really works against him here.

Its hard to say he’s done for losing to someone he’s never fought before, imavov is a higher level opponent than the guys izzy managed to breeze through before like Vettori, Costa and Brunson. All those guys i listed have pretty much been beaten or overtaken in the rankings by newer guys who Izzy has never faced.

People said the same about Dan Hooker when he lost to Poirier, Chandler and then to Islam after a win over Nasrat Haqparast. Notice how he didn’t lose to Nasrat but lost to top guys like Poirier and Islam. It’s called facing a different level of competition.
