If Ivanov beat up JDS , will u consider him as a title countender?

The guy is 16-1 but don’t had any win against a top 15 fighters,then if he beat up JDS I think they should schedule him against another top 15 fighters (Hunt,Volkov,Overeem or Arlovski) and if he win this one i’ll throw him
at the champ. It’s though at this weight to make a title eliminator fight,some or Big draw but they’re coming from a loss and some others are on a winning streak but not really sellable

A rematch with Volkov would be OK but I think he could end-up really quickly on a fight with the winner of Cormier/Miocic

I'll need to see more of him first. Although JDS is indeed a huge name for anyone to have in their record, he's not the same anymore.

Well he'll get closer to title contention but Blades, Volkov, Ngannou and Lewis (regardless of how their fight goes) would be above him. If he beats JDS I'd like for him to fight the loser of Ngannou and Lewis, or perhaps rematch Volkov and try to avenge his loss.
