This got me thinking today........what happens if Bigfoot beats Overeem. Who is next in line for the title after that???

I really think the UFC is betting big on OVereem to get the W and set him up for a title fight. (side note....Reem got his license today from the NSAC) If Overeem wins then all goes as planned, but if he loses?

Werdum vs Nog wont be until June.......will the UFC wait for this match up where either guy could earn a shot with a good win.

Will they give Bigfoot the title shot after 2 wins?? We know that deserving these days means F##k all in the UFC. SO its more....would the UFC give him a shot.

Could they give JDS his rematch right away (there is a long thread on this going on....I personally dont think he should get a rematch until 1-2 wins) But again...when the UFC doesnt have contenders and one guy is demanding enough, we see what happens. So its more...would the UFC do it as opposed to if he should get it.

Cormier wont fight

What do you guys think here?? Whats the direction for Cain's next fight. And think more of what the UFC will do....not who deserves what or what you as fans want to see.

then bigfoot will probably fight someone else for a title shot.

maybe give werdum a title shot if he beats nog.

Wait for Werdum or there's also the JDS rematch card if don't want to wait after later in the year for Werdum.

IF that were to happen (& chances are quite microscopically slim), I would LOVE to see Bigfoot vs DC 2.

"if it wasn't for that cut, who knows what would have happened"

Cain vs Big Foot rematch for the title.

JDS rematch. Or Hunt/Struve winner (seriously).

Big Foot vs Hunt/Struve winner. Reem vs JDS.

But Bigfoots not winning... Lol. What if? What if Brock Lesnar won? What if? What if Ronda Rousey loses to Liz Carmouche? WHAT IF??

I think in terms of who deserves it....that makes sense. BF if coming of a TKO win over Browne....who was undefeated in his career and the UFC (4-0-1) and a win over OVereem.

But does the UFC see BF as a contender, by their standards a guy who is marketable and they actually want to be champ or in a title fight.

DC has left the door open to fighting Cain. But likely not in this short of a time frame.

On topic: I think they will have to go JDS or wait on Werdum.

Well lets not get to confident here in OVereem. I see him a fav in this fight, but I dont think its a sure win for Overeem. I think BF has a good chance to win it.

Its all about the what ifs in this thread......gotta have a back up plan

does anybody know what the PPV buyrate for 155 was? because if it was high say 550-600k then JDS will get the shot.

if the buys were low, then maybe if struve wins (5 straight wins) then he gets the shot.

Oh really? I didnt know...I thought he was opposed to fighting him.

What about Nog????

Since coming back from his long lay off.........KO over Shaub, SUb over Herman, win over Werdum (if he wins) a fight vs Mir where he looked great but good subbed
