if I take creatine before I sleep, do I still need to add sugar?

I wouldn't personally, sugar before bed is not a good idea at all because odds are it will just be turned into fat. You should get enough creatine uptake with a good PWO shake with creatine in it anyways.
 
Take it in the morning otherwise you will get a shit sleep ive found.
 
alright, so if I take it in the morning, do I add sugar? since it doesn't matter how fast it gets absorbed right?
 
Just take it after your training session with some dextrose.
 
If you take it any time other than postworkout, I wouldn't personally add the dextrose. The increased absorbtion of the creatine wouldn't be worth the insulin spike.
 
I like to take it with a cube of sugar. It makes me have sweet dreams.
