If Hendo loses, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Silva rematch

I like Hendo but I fully expect him to lose tonight. Had he not landed the one punch against Shogun he would be on one of the worst streaks if his career and this fight would have never been considered. He can certainly knock out Cornier but very unlikely IMO. I expect a full force wall and stall UD by Cormier like against Mir.

That being said, Hendo weighed in very light and if he loses I would not be surprised to see him be Anderson Silva's return fight. At this stage of their careers it would be a total legacy fight and I think both guys would be stoked for it.

Anderson would murder him. Wanderlei rematch would be better

Both sound like great ideas tbh.

    Wand fight would be awesome.

You Are probably right TS. I hate these old-superstar-past-his-prime-vs-old-superstar-past-his-prime-matches. Better to see them fight newcomers.

While Hendo is clearly way past his prime, we have absolutely NO idea what Anderson will be like following that injury.

Would be a more even match-up than you might think.

Anderson is a nightmare match up for Hendo. Dan just walks forward like a zombie looking for that one punch ko and Silva is a fucking sniper. Hendo doesnt even try to wrestle nowdays.

I like the idea of the fight although I agree with the one guy that we don't know what Anderson will return like.

If Anderson would be destroying him and then got caught I would be so sad

Yeah, it's a matchup that would make sense at catchweight for everyone to see where anderson's at. and we all know hendo would want the fight.

wand wouldn't be a bad fight either. fans would watch that (i mean wand vs. hendo as others are saying).

    I think it's a big possibility. I much prefer it to Silva-Bisping

If Hendo loses he should defo go back to MW, win 1 then get a title shot. Then retire

Probably be hendo vs manuwa and bisping vs silva - and the UFC matchmaking machine rolls on, hitting pothole after pothole
