This is a fighter that was always obsessed with his stock. He went to the judge's scorecards every fight. He never went up in weight. He was a guy that never took risks. So, if GSP was a stock, what would his stock ticker be?

"A ticker symbol or stock symbol is an abbreviation used to uniquely identify publicly traded shares of a particular stock on a particular stock market. A stock symbol may consist of letters, numbers or a combination of both."

Example: America Online is AOL

clearly his symbol would be GSP and he would be like Coca Cola.
No break through game changing technology but slow and steady. also not many people profess their love for either one but clearly someone is buying it

Is GSP punchy or what? He mentioned MMA being like the stock market 5 times in the same interview. WE UNDERSTOOD YOUR METAPHOR THE FIRST TIME GEORGES, AND IT STILL DOESN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION WHY YOU DIDN'T WANT TO FIGHT ANDERSON AT 185 4 YEARS AGO. WAS HIS STOCK NOT HIGH ENOUGH THEN?

He answered that question.

He had a line up of worthy challengers at WW and he didn't want to make them wait. He also apologized to Yoel for jumping his spot in line.

People keep asking the same question he kept giving the same answer... pretty simple.

Q: "Why didn't you want to challenge Anderson 4 years ago for the 185 belt" GSP: "You see MMA is like stock market, and right now Michael Bisping has the highest stock." That's not answering the question. He danced around that Anderson question like a trained politician.

He answered it earlier or later can't remember. Also can't be bothered to thumb through the transcript.

Either way George is as cold and calculated outside the cage as he is inside.

Last I checked GSP was WW champ then. Are you saying nothing changed?

Well he lost to Johnny Hendricks in one of the worst decisions of all time and then relinquished his belt for over 3 years. Yeah that part changed.
