Belfort vs. Evans
Machida vs. Silva
Diaz vs. Melendez
Velaquez vs. Cormier
Davis vs. Gustafsson
Diaz vs. Shields
Mendes vs. Faber (If Faber went back up)

Who do you have winning and who else would you see winning other match-ups?

--------

My picks:
Belfort > Evans
Machida < Silva
Diaz < Melendez
Velaquez > Cormier
Davis < Gustafsson
Diaz < Shields
Mendes < Faber (Can't bet against Faber in a non-title fight)

Davis spanked Gustafson but I think it would go differently if they fought again

Barao vs. Aldo.

I'd hope for a Draw (I like both fighters) but I'd pick Aldo to win.

Belfort KO (head kick)
Machida UD
Melendez UD
Cormier TKO
Gustafsson UD
Shields UD
Mendes TKO (punches)

I'd slightly favor Barao over Aldo to win a narrow decision by taking over late in the fight, Browne to KO Mir, Arlovski to KO Mir, Browne to KO Arlovski, Lombard by KO over Woodley, Woodley by decision over Lawler, and Lombard by TKO over Lawler in other teammate vs teammate fights.

Aldo would beat Barao IMO, but I think the fight would be interesting because Barao tends to use his grappling a lot more than Aldo. Obviously Aldo's TDD is ridiculous but Barao is such a monster as well you would have to give him a chance

Does Lyoto even train with Anderson anymore? Doesn't Lyoto live/train in LA now?

Belfort vs. Evans - Vitor at 185, Suga at 205
Machida vs. Silva - Anderson at 185, Lyoto at 205 (I could easily change my mind on these depending on how their next fights go)
Diaz vs. Melendez - Gil
Velaquez vs. Cormier - Cain
Davis vs. Gustafsson - Gusto
Diaz vs. Shields - Nick
Mendes vs. Faber - Chad

Lyoto's become something of a nomad; he's still probably got Ed Soares as a manager like Anderson, and I imagine he still trains with the Black House guys every now and then, but Anderson lives in Southern California for significant chunks of time too; he recently endorsed someone for sheriff in Los Angeles.

I imagine Lyoto has curtailed the training with Anderson though since they're both at middleweight and a collision seems inevitable sooner or later if Anderson manages to get the title back. It's a little reminiscent of how Condit said he kept his distance from GSP in the gym back when both were at Jackson's because he thought they would fight one day (he was right.) From what he posts, it seems Lyoto's new BFF is Glover; there are a lot of pics of them training at The Pit with Liddell, and also a fair amount of pics of them training with Werdum at King's MMA.

Lyoto said this a little while back regarding what Anderson thought about fighting him.

He (Silva) said he would never fight me, that we are like brothers. Anderson told me he has other goals, that he was the champion for a long time and he's focused on other goals now, like superfights. He said he would even leave the title to not fight me.

I think that was in response to Machida saying that he was willing to fight Anderson to fulfil his goal of becoming a champion again (at MW). Who knows how that would actually play out if Anderson was to win the re-match with Weidman. I have a hard time imagining him just giving up the belt for fun fights, even if age is creeping up with him.

I've also noticed that Glover and Lyoto seem really tight. They post a lot of pictures on twitter where they are hanging out.
