Depending on what comes next a win or 2 would likely be enough. If already you're on top of the mountain beforehand one fight win streaks can get you title shots. This obviously won't happen at LW but even possible to get title shots coming off losses that weren't controversial(Gus v Rumble). Not like he'd just be starting from scratch.

Tbh though hard to say cause no ones really been in Tony's situation before. His win streak has never been done by a non champ(mostly he's got one interim title fight) and even among champions only Jones, MM, GSP and AS have done it. And even among the champs this would be unprecedented. MM got traded right away, GSP retired right away and AS almost never won a fight again(though he received an instant rematch).

He is my favourite LW and I hope he gets what he deserves. But any division with Conor in it and with the guy who he has his biggest rivalry with, Tony is taking the backseat.
