If DC won't fight anyone else, he should retire.

He already announced his plan to retire. Why is he sticking around for a title fight as his last fight when Stipe has serious injuries (because of DC cheating) and we don't know when that fight could happen? And why is UFC giving it to him, when they know he has no plans to fight afterward? Doesn't Dana hate GSP because GSP did exactly that?

If DC refuses to fight a guy like Blaydes, then move on and leave the division. It seems like a big waste of time to have him hang around for the title then retire, and he's standing in the way of both Ngannous and Blaydes.

Supposedly Stipe has serious injuries for which he may have to retire from MMA, but he's been busy calling out Tyson Fury the last 3 months

    Hmmm....

Stipe has recently said he's healed up and cleared, so you are working off old information.

It makes sense for him to take his time getting back into sparring considering the nature of his injury. DC eye poked him in BOTH fights and each time they were egregious, so its not as though you can blame Stipe for someone eye jabbing him.

Stipe should fight Ngannou next. Cormier fight makes no sense.

DC is having an identity crisis. He can't retire after that loss...but he also knows he's old and fat so he could very well lose his next fight...Stipe's kidney shots really ruined DC's retirement party.

Stipe threw the first eye poke against DC, so it evens out

Stipe should avoid DC because he don't need more eyepokes.

Agreed. Division is log jammed and there's only 4.5 relevant fighters. Also, Blaydes doesn't get title shot until Frank Ng retires. Already been smoked twice.

    is it?
do we really want to see Stipe v DC 3?

Stipe vs winner of Ngannou/Rozenstruik and DC vs Blaydes would be better at least in my opinion

DC is a company man, so Uncle Dana is hooking him up. GSP promised to fight the #1 contender if he won the belt and totally reneged on that, so it's different in that case. DC said he's going to retire after the next fight.
