What would be the next career move? I think Stipe will finish Daniel in the 2nd round and he is really delusional to think he is on Stipe's level. This is Stipe's time and DC is going against the most dangerous man in the planet who has phenomenal striking, knock out power and also amazing wrestling to go with it.

I think he should probably defend his belt another time then retire. He is getting too old for this. I don't want to see him like this

Retirement.

He keeps saying he's gone by 40 so a win vs Stipe just leaves time for more fight, if he loses he's not dropping the weight to get back to 205.

Gus rematch.

I have Stipe too but I dont think DC winning would be a massive upset either.

I think win or lose he is close to retiring anyway, might as well say fuck it and go for a legacy bout at HW. It'd be cool to finally see DC vs. Reem, if not that DC vs. Brock could be fun because it seems like Lesnar is coming back like it or not.

retirement cuz hes not returning to 205. if stipe beats him he wont get the belt and theirs no other fights for him at HW unless he wants that brock payday if ufc would book that fight

Retirement? I don't think so. If DC gets finished I think he will try and defend his belt to go out with a win. DC hates losing so I don't think he will want to end his career with a loss.

Retirement or a 3rd time with Jones

It all depends on how long Jones gets USADA'd for

It'll be the biggest payday he's ever had, and DC has other job's besides fighting. Win or lose, I would ride off into the sunset If I were DC, but that's just my little opinion.

Hopefully get that missing side tooth replaced.

Cormier has nothing to prove and what he's accomplished in a small sample of time and the time he actually started doing it is nothing short of ultra remarkable.

Remember - this all started with an inexperienced DC filling in SFORCE heavy grand prix and DESTROYING A CHEMICALLY INDUCED BIG FOOT then beating up Josh to become heavy champ. That was not that long ago and is approaching or is 40 now.

Agreed on jones. If he wins , he can defend hwt. If he loses, his big fight is jones. Dc is a competitor and h hates the asterisk that many put by his championship title.

He already said he's retiring in March.

Basically has 2 fights left.

When he beats Stipe he probably drops the LHW belt so Gus/Rockhold can fight over it and defends the HW belt 1 more time.

Don’t underestimate DC. He’s undefeated at HW. He’s fought and beat top contenders. If he loses he still defends LHW. Win win for him. He’s retiring next year he said

If he loses to Stipe I'd like to see him get the Brock fight.

More realistically, Gusty or Latifi. Jones obviously if he is eligible to fight by March 2019
