Why havent Max or Khabib been KOd? Even Darren Till took Woodleys best shot and didnt go out.

Is this all just bs like the thread about having bigger nostrils helps your cardio or what?

tj doesnt really have an amazing chin to begin with. max and khabib have granite chins compared to TJ.

he got caught behind the year against henry, that punch puts a lot of guys down. it just happens once in a while.

I strongly suspect that certain fighters are using illegal IV rehydration. IV rehydration helps negate the negative effects of weight cutting. The protective tissues in your brain rehydrate much faster when you use an IV.

Ever since the video of Paulo Costa using illegal IV rehydration emerged -- getting away with it and facing ZERO penalty -- I don't trust USADA to enforce the IV rehydration ban. Seems like an honor system to me.

When you take someone down and punch them in the face repeatedly, it tends to not place much of a test on your chin.

    .....#trollface

The answer is that it does affect it *all else being equal*, but some fighters are so strong in the other aspects that go into chin/not getting KOed they can override the negative effect of cutting.
