If Conor wins this fight and goes back and beats aldo again, is he the goat?

If this guy goes up to 170 and gets redemption and then ko's aldo stiff as a board again, is he then the goat.

I think it's hard to deny his creditials especially after some of the other greats popping for peds.

Nate isn't the best lightweight or welterweight, so beating him isn't some huge, huge accomplishment, though it's no easy task...

Conor beat the featherweight champ, but that was one fight that took place after a ridiculously long reign, so a loss was a longtime coming to Aldo, sooner or later.

Conor hasn't beaten anybody who is either highly ranked, had a full camp or didn't have the pressure of being undefeated for 8-10 years like Aldo. All his victories were very measured.

Conor would have to defend his title several more times, jump up in weight, beat the recognized champion there after fighting a couple warm up fights and only then can we talk about GOAT. He's a naturally talented fighter, but no way is he near GOAT even if he beats Nate and then Aldo.

 

I think if he win impressively against Nate and aldo he would defo be top 5 and potentially #1 or 2 behind gsp. Definitely better than that can crusher fedor fosho.

Conor has proven nothing in terms of historic MMA events... Title defenses = 0 of 3 fucking belts he's held...
