Conor would need a weapon, and even then, he might not win.

Forcing Khabib and Islam to shoot in the center is the best way to counter that style. Problem is it's easier said than done. Conor would have eventually gotten pushed against the cage anyway as he did in round 2.

On a side note, Conor actually showed pretty good TDD in this fight. Much better than in later fights when Dustin was taking him down at will.
