Nah. Plenty of guys have lost two in row and have come back but it will harm his public image.

He could easily put together wins at 145 again. it would just be a matter of the UFC being willing to pay him enough for the cut.

Who knows? Conr relies on his timing and speed. The kind of thing that starts to go first and fast. It is like dropping off a cliff for those kind of fighters.

He'd still fight but he'd be taken even less seriously than he is now as an actual fighter and his popularity would sink to sub Jon Jones levels.

He wasn’t even willing to fight paquio at 147. I don’t ever see him going back down to that weight

Done nothing but post in McGregor threads. No ****s given.

Or audition for a part in the sequel to The Machinist?

Conor ain't making 145 again unless he loses and goes on a 2 year bender.

If he loses it will hurt his brand slightly, but I dont think he'd be done. I think we'd see the Nate trilogy fight pretty sharpish.

Pacman will crack Conor's chin for good. Looking forward to this.

Are they bringing back IV's because that was the only reason he ever made 145.

His legacy is basically a scam.

This will be one of his least viewed fights.

If he loses this one, viewership will be down even more but it will still be profitable for UFC given how he is quite ahead on numbers relative to the nominal.

no he talking about boxing as a fall back plan. zuffa boxing can use him to fight some cans and padd his record than fight something huge like floyd or pacman.

Depends on the nature of the loss, but if he got wrecked or dominated, I could see him hanging 'em up. This fight has a "Ronda return" vibe about it.

If he wasn’t under contract I’d totally do that were I him. But the fact that the UFC reportedly took half of his check with Floyd, I wouldn’t be in a rush to secure any big fights under the zuffa boxing banner.

Probably not just even a money thing, the cut was too hard on him, and it doesnt get any easier with age.

It's not a scam if his opponents were using them as well (though the practise is admittedly pointless if everyone is in on it). Do you think he beat Holloway, for instance, because of a size advantage?
