If Conor hadn't injured his knee, would he have gassed standing with Max by the end of the 2nd rnd?

Max's chin was holding up pretty well against Conor's shots.

FYI, even if he gassed I still think he'd win a 29-28, doubt Max woulda KO'd or submitted Conor in the 3rd.

He has a solid chance in a 5 rounder though, his chin is legit.

Conor landed a takedown before he injured his knee. He injured his knee on the ground. So he was winning that fight regardless.

Anyway, let's just stay the fight stayed on the feet for the full 15. Max didn't have the reach advantage of Nate, or the sub skills (and thus potential ground threat), or the ability to pressure on the feet (at least back then). Conor woulda won 30-27 most likely. Or what shoulda been 30-26 or 30-25.

Who gives a fuck?

Ones ducking fights and the other is running head first into them.

It wasn't until after he injured in this fight that he started having cardio issues.
