Conor is Jaime Lannister, both very talented fighters, very confident and charismatic, both slayed the old king, have a huge amount of haters but are misunderstood and they were both humbled, used to be loved by Tywin/Dana but have recently fallen out.

Others:
Faber = Tyrion
Edgar = Stannis, believes he is the rightful heir and has been screwed over and has very dodgy management
Brianne = Cyborg
Joe Riggs = Reek
