If Cole Konrad didn't retire would he beat Cain Velasquez?

King Mo vs Mousasi? Did you even watch that fight? Mousasi basically kicked King Mo's ass laying on his back the entire fight.

Cain could circle around the ring while Cole chases after him, wheezing and gasping for air as he clutches his chest, it would be the first fight ever won without either fighter touching each other.

Who gives a shit what type of fighter you predict will win? Your reasoning behind your choices is misguided and retarded. I feel like I'm arguing with Bloodstain Laine. The entire premise of your argument is that Cole is going to put Cain on his back for 5 rounds or until he finishes him, based on some amateur wrestling matches, and Pat Barry's quote.

Konrad was really good, it's hard to say how good he could of been. I hate Bellator for locking in great fighters without any competition. I doubt he beats Cain tho, it's pretty much impossible to say anyone could beat Cain.

You should just stick too shilling for Bellator because when you actually try to start talking about MMA it just makes people understand how little you know about even the basics of the sport of MMA.

You know you are probably hurting Bellator more then helping now days when you posting, now soon as you post the whole thread turns into a joke about you instead of Bellator.
 
Konrad looked like a complete blob in his mma career, can't say I followed his wrestling career but I know he has a very impressive resume but surely he didn't look like that during his prime wrestling days ?

Kos made a choice to pretty much abandon his wrestling to learn the striking game and it backfired IMO. He got the highlight reel KO vs Yoshida and became more exciting which probably led to him getting more fights but if he would have continued to work on his wrestling, ground and pound, and sun defense as opposed to the kickboxing he might be the ww g.o.a.t. Gsp never would have surpassed his wrestling if he didn't neglect it while gsp rapidly improved his.

There wouldn't even be a thread in the first place because I'm the one starting most of the bellator threads in here. Most of the posters in here are "fashionably cynical complainers" and my fans (aker2703 and a couple others who love to go thru my old posts because they aren't smart enough to have an intelligent conversation about mma with me). They can't make a decent thread and when someone does they are like a black cloud when they post trying to whine and complain. When people own them in the discussions then they start insulting and name calling. I challenge you Seph to make 1 decent thread in here per day for 1 week. If you can I won't make threads during that time.

Unfortunately I have a career and a life that prevents me from flooding the board with useless crap threads.

Why would you need to make a thread a day? Why would you need to make threads at all? Why can't you discuss real unmanufactured issues and news about MMA like a real fan.

You want someone to have a intelligent conversation with about your post, post something intelligent, not threads about a 1 denotational retired fighter beating the best on the planet right now, or how much sex a low level fighter that may or may not be legally retarded has with his porn star fake girlfriend.

OMG............Cain is the best HW in the world by a pretty good margin. Conrad never even proved he was top 10. GTFOH with this crap.
 
Cole Konrad, undefeated and greatest pound for pound fighter of all time.
 
Cole was a decent wrestler but thats practically all he had. I think Cains speed and tenacity would make it an easy night for him.

Honestly in his 9 MMA fights I saw nothing from Cole that suggested he was any better than Mike Russow. At least Russow was knocking dudes out.

Cole was larger, and had the wrestling advantage. His boxing was also becoming not a huge weakness as he out-boxed Buentello rather easily. Where is the trolling? Konrad was unbeaten and a great prospect. He faced nowhere near the level of comp as Cain, but I'm pretty sure he would have beaten Kongo even easier than Cain did.. It's like if a guy were to beat Anderson Silva repeatedly in kick-boxing, and then that person fought and won 10 fights in a row against decent (not great) comp in MMA, and somebody wondering f that person could/would beat Andy in MMA, would that be trolling?? Konrad was apparently the better wrestler, and he was bigger. I think the only thing Cain had on him in MMA is a small step up in striking and cardio TBH.
