If Chandler beats Oliveira, 2/3 Bellator LW champs became UFC LW Champs

I just wanted to point this out to the MMA fans that only watch UFC and don't know that every Organization has great fighters. UFC is not the be all end all when it comes to MMA, they have the most depth but not all the best fighters and not even necessarily the best single fighter in every division.

Same for Anderson Silva but at least Hooker was ranked in the top 5. I'm not sure if Leben was even top 10 when Anderson got a title shot off of beating him. UFC fights aren't the only ones that matter.

I thought he might have been but picked Chandler as a minor favorite to win. I just felt Chandler was a lot more proven with his Alvarez and Benson Henderson fights than Hooker was who's best win was a very debated win over Felder.

this is a really good match up. they must like chandler a lot. i think oliverira if he comes to fight will win. I think hes to dangerous in to many areas for chandler. I think it backs chandler into the plan of trying to land big shots and pressure standing. I think he can win that way but i'm hoping for do bronx mainly because his offensive is some of the most exciting to watch especially on the ground. so far chandler is just cookie cutter high level wrestler with a lot of power and explosiveness. if you can wrestle with him and negate his power hes in for a tough fight

Not entirely true, Leben was very close to a title shot himself, and I believe the talk was he was likely to receive one had he beat anderson that night where he was at the time 5-0 in the UFC middleweight division. Anderson smoking what some thought was going to be the next cotender so badly on top of being highly ranked coming in to the promotion made him the obvious choice to fight Franklin next.
