If Chad Mendes loses to Aldo where should he go from there? His a pretty short guy but well built to I'm wondering if the best move would be to move up or to move down. Maybe if Aldo beats him he will move up to LW and I could definitely see him winning the title. I'm not counting him out of the fight with Aldo though because the first fight he was winning until the KO and he has improved a lot since then I'm just curious on what he will do if he loses.

    First response nailed it.

He's not going to lose though.

If this happens, he better be ready for Barao though...

Move up to LW. I think he would have a speed advantage over just about anyone in the division.

Chad's plan is to wear Aldo down and win by a decision. With a gameplan like that, he'll end up with another L like Edgar, Lamas, Hominick, Florian, etc..

Aldo is going to finish Mendes again so he should be thinking about where to go from there.

Conor, Edgar, Zombie, Swanson, Poirier, etc lots of guys to battle. Let's not count him out his KO power and wrestling are dangerous. Let's see if he can put it together vs Aldo.

I'm pretty sure Aldo will move up after atleast 2 fights, he's already done enough to prove he's the best at FW.

There aren't any contenders in the UFC FW division named Conor.

Barao may be tougher than Aldo nowadays.

Chad will just hang in there at #2 until Aldo moves up. Just like Faber at 135. Stuck at number 2 behind a Brazilian.

I don't think he's gonna be in BW with Dillishaw and Faber unless they move weightclass. He's only options will probably be to move up or stay at FW

Mendes said he could make 135. I guess it depends if Dillashaw wins at 173.
