Cerrone wants to stay busy and wishes to fight in early December and Jury said on his twitter that he wants to fight in January. Rankings do not really matter for this fight, he just wants to stay busy so it really is whoever is willing to fight in 8 weeks. So if the jury fight does not happen I would really love to see Cerrone/Lauzon go at it.. Like i said it does not make sense at all rankings wise but this is a dream matchup for me. This also would be the most "Of the night Bonuses" between 2 fighters EVER. They have 26 combined fight night bonuses under the Zuffa banner and that alone is a HUGE selling point for this fight. I do not think anyone would be upset if this fight got thrown onto the Hendricks/Lawler card :)

cerrone should take this fight, set it up for December, then after an easy win, he can go wave boarding an shit.........then take down Khabib

That is pretty awesome although i fig for beatin tompson hed get someone higher rank than barboza, that said i love barboza and he will win with sick kicks Again an be a contender again 😄

Yeah i am excited for this fight but it is funny that Green is getting a lower ranked guy than he deserves but he will most likely be the underdog in this fight anyway
 
Khabib and Jury are the only fights that make sense if he doesn't want to wait for winner of such and such a fight. Although Khabib is out until around March I think.
 
There's 114 LWs for Cowboy to choose from.
Pick a name out of a hat, and Cerrone will fight that one.
 
Fight bonusgasm... Maybe Lawler will get injured and Cerrone will become the 2014 Welterweight champion, just to further shit everybody's pants.

He has already stated that he just wants a fight doesnt matter rankings wise. Thats why hell Lauzon is the perfect fight to make, if will be a great supporting fight on the Hendricks/Lawler, Pettis/Melendez PPV

That is what i am saying this will be a fight for the ages and i know Cerrone would take that spot for the WW title if he had the chance and since Melendez/Pettis is on the card too he can be ready if/when Pettis pulls out.
 
Why not get a fight before the holidays. Train, fight, then take a few weeks off and enjoy the holidays.
 
If Jury vs Cowboy doesn't happen then I'd like to see Jury vs Khabib and Cerrone vs winner of RDA/Diaz

Cerrone is not waiting he is fighting somebody before the years over, he does not care who it is, he wants his 5th fight and another paycheck.
