Please read the topic title, I am not saying he will win, this is just speculation.

so for years sherdoggers have been taking a giant shit on Bisping, every time he wins, you make a long list of excuses and when he does lose you are there mocking him.

I find all this rather childish to be honest, so the question is are you haters ready to finally grow the fuck up and if he does win, will you give some respect to him?

Actually I think Bisping has gotten respect ever since he was ktfo by Hendo. He took that like a man- no excuses and no crying about the late hit.

Of course there will still be people who blindly rage about him but I do think he turned a corner there.

No. People will say that Vitor was overrated or injured or old or something.

As soon as the fight is over, the trash talk stops. Its crazy how much attention his Jesus comments is getting. From what I've read about him, Jesus wouldn't get nearly as bent out of shape about as some of the people on this site are!

He'd turn that other cheek like a boss!

He earned some respect with that loss due to Sonnen, I honestly thought Sonnen was going to wrestle fuck him for 3 rounds but he really put up a great fight and had Sonnen in trouble at some points.

I respect him as a fighter but not as a human being. He talks disrespectful shit about EVERY single opponent he fights. But I guess it is good to really dislike someone in the ufc. Builds the excitement.

Can't wait until Vitor knocks bisping cold.

I respect anyone who willingly signs a contract to fight Vitor Belfort in front of millions of people.

Why does that matter? It's a fight and condidtioning is important.

To the TS, Bisping is like Mir. Neither will ever get the reapect thwy deserve on here because Sherdog is comprised mostly of teens and man-children who throw fits over what's "respectful". Add to that, Bisping didn't fight in pride. So he doesn't get the pride nuthugger bubble of protection.

any fighter should be respected win or lose

but winning this fight will give bisping an argument for a title shot. i don't see him winning this fight tho, vitor is too fast even at this age and i consider him a top 3 middleweight still.

Vitor 2nd Round KO, gonna catch Bisping with a right

hes from england and he acts like a prick, those dont bode well for his sherdog personality

so prob not - however, winning by stoppage would make a stron case for him - people who dont want to give him creidt would have to work harder

I don't like Bisping. I don't like his fighting style but if he wins against Belfort I guess I will respect him a lot more. To me, every time he fought a somewhat big name he either got beat up or won by a controversial way. So unless he eye pokes and kicks Belfort in the nuts, he will get some respect from me.

Some people will overreact and claim he is the best fighter at 185. Others will under react and claim he still has not beaten anyone.

The truth is a win over Belfort deserves respect. The truth is also that a guy who kneed a downed opponent and spit on someone doesn't deserve respect.

Overall, the answer to your question is yes. And no. And purple.
