He has power, speed, timing and crazy killer instinct. You never know from where he will hit you.

He besmirched Faber with no effort.

Cody is asking for death, if he really wants to fight Yan. He wouldn't last a round.

We talking "let me bang bro" Cody or genius Cody, who schooled Cruz.
Because the last one definetly has a shot

    Same Cody.

Cody leapfrogged all of the elite BW's who could offensively strike when he got his title shot, as good as Cruz is at what he does, he isn't dangerous. Cody just happens to be a bad matchup for him.

The same Cody who beat Cruz is the same one that lost to TJ and Munhoz, Cruz just couldn't punish him in the pocket like those guys.

I agree but TJ the snake knocked out genius out of Cody and there's just "let me bang bro" version left.

Not completly disagree but the Cody who got starched by TJ and Munhoz also found some success in those fights but than started to trade in the pocket. I feel like thats more Like a fight iq problem

    100% mentally.
He's immensely good technique- and physical-wise.

    Cejudo x Sandhagen
    Cejudo x Yan
    Yan x Sandhagen

All absolutely fire matchups; the best such triangle at any weight class in MMA.

Yan would be a big favorite and I got him winning by having the better chin.
If Cody calls somebody out, he usually sees something in his opponent technique though. Don't forget TJ was only saved by the bell in their first fight, despite being 10 pounds heavier and on every PED there is.

Fun fact, both have been knocked out in their last amateur fight.

I don’t see how anyone can doubt Yan anymore. This guy checks chins all over the place, whilst being as uncompromising as anyone on the roster. There’s a reason no one mentions his name - He’s like the Boogeyman working his way through the division.

I think he’d smash Garbrandt; however, for me, he should be fighting Cejudo next. That’s the fight, right there.

Correct. And if you have in mind that TJ actually beat Cruz everything is falling in its places.
    TJ > Cody > Cruz

Thanks for posting. Yan has all the tools to wear the belt at 135. Should be fun to watch him chase the belt. I give Faber credit as an older fighter going 3 rounds with that type of talent and punishment. That is a very hard day at the office for someone coming out of retirement...

    So he is Asian Russian?

Yan is going to be BW champ at one point or another, been spreading that Petr Yan propaganda ever since he joined UFC.

Yan beats Cody by being a smarter fighter and a better boxer.
