it won't add or subtract from his legacy.

Everyone has a puncher's chance, and especially when odds are stacked so high against one side, shocking outcome do and can happen.

I still remember his fans talking as if Anderson Silva intentionally let the Michael Jordan of BJJ take him down to submit him, or he was an inexperienced fighter when he got flushed out of PRIDE, though he had more experience than many, if not most ex- or present UFC champions when they first became a champion.

I love how a ranked number 1 fighter at WW in the world can be so inexperienced and go onto become the champion at UFC like a year or so later, I suppose some voodoo magic shit happened inbetween.

I still remember the sheer excitement that I felt when the clown was being disrespectful clown once again and finally had what was coming to him.

But, Anderson is a great fighter, and unlike many people who's saying that he's not what he used to be, but maybe not, but as a matter of fact is, no one was saying anything about him slowing down before his losses, and it's so convenient to say that after losses, and he's still dangerous.

Everyone has a puncher's chance. So does Anderson.

If he wins, at least Roy Nelson would gain the ability of flight.

Also, I love how his fans want to point out that he used to fight at WW. Like, more than a decade ago. Did you see how skinny he was? Dude probably has a bigger frame than Fedor, longer reach, taller, etc etc.

I don't see no fans of Joe Riggs try to point out that he used to fight at WW and point out how much bigger he is.

Fucking stupid.

Rich Franklin was thought to be one of the biggest weight cutters around. He was dwarfed by Forrest Griffin. Anderson wasn't.

I think I read an article where Anderson HIMSELF said that he cuts from 230, and his MANAGER Soares said that Anderson would come in at 220 against Fedor if that fight were to happen.

Guess who said otherwise?

His fanboys.
lol

Stopped at "everyone has a punchers chance"

If he wins he's the undeniable goat. Cormier is a HW/LHW champion.

Had to stop reading after the first sentence

Silva beating Cormier at age 41 on short notice won't add to his legacy. Lol.

I think he's in a no lose situation...If he wins, it probably cements him as the GOAT...if he loses, oh well, he's 41, took the fight on a few days notice against probably a larger man

Anderson is going to have to stick and move big time and avoid the takedown.

Nothing will change that he's a proven steroid cheater. His legacy has been tainted forever. A win over Cormier won change that.

It's hilarious how his PRIME stopped when he was clowning and got KTFO when it was a smooth sail before that point.

I suppose ducking Wiedman for more than a year and fighting him when he was coming off a surgery didn't pay off I guess.

You seem like you are seriously dumb.

Like aggressively dumb. As if you desperately want to make other people dumber.

Silva is on his way out. His prime has passed, and now he is filling in short notice to rescue the show. He still has selling power. Mousasi was a better option, he is prepared, and in shape since he is fighting on the weekend, but he has not a brand name and is dangerous for DC.

If he wins he's the best right now at 205 period, belt or no. And the UFC will have a mess at that division.

He will always be the Lance Armstrong of MMA, BUT...

even I can admit beating Cormier would be an incredible story and very impressive.

It's possible to have a tainted career, but at the same time still have great moments. Anderson is a guy of incredible highs and incredible lows no doubt.

Well he succeeded, I feel dumber for clicking on this shit.

Well, I suppose you were dumb enough to click on it then to begin with. Don't blame your low iq on someone else's fucking thread

It was the same dynamic with his clowning.

When he won it was 'zomg the matrix...this is what makes him GOAT...it is the way he wins'. If he loses 'his opponent should not get credit as Anderson was clowning'.
