UFC has Faber ranked #1 and Caceres ranked #13. Big fight for Caceres. Faber doesn't lose non title fights but IF by some miracle Caceres wins, how far would Caceres logically rocket up the rankings and how far would Faber plummet?

he would need at least two more fights to get the title shot

It's a big win no doubt, but the only way I see Alex winning is by the grace of god. The thing about rankings is are we ranking based on overall skill? Or recent wins? Or what? Just so much criteria goes Into rankings that it makes the ranking system very broad. He definitely gets into top ten, I'd put him as high as 7 or 8 because if he does get past faber, which will be a miracle, I think guys like McDonald, assuncao, mizugaki, wineland, and barao are all tough matches for Alex.

Agree. the only way he'd win is some miracle. I don't know why he would want to take this fight.
