So far, everyone Conor has destroyed has talked about using wrestling, leg kicks, or circling away in order to nullify him. They think that without the left he's got nothing. Is this a dangerous mindset to have? Putting so much weight on a guys biggest weapon, and convincing yourself that is all he has. But when the wrestling/leg kicks don't work..they start to panic...make mistakes..and boom they get starched. If someone wants to beat Conor, is a must that they have to realize that they will have to take a few punches and have to gut it out in order to get the W. So far, Nate is the only guy to do that...and he's had great success. Beat Conor the first time and lost a very controversial MD. The type of fighter he is, you can't just avoid and run away from his hands. I think if most fighters realized that they will get hit, and that they may get hurt...they have to go Diego Sanchez mode and eat a little bit to get the fight where they want. Daniel Cormier realized that he will probably get hit by Rumble...and proceeded to beat him. Bader on the other hand thought that the only way to win was to take him down, putting too much emphasis on his bombs. Bader ended up shooting a petrifying double across the cage and getting beat down for it.
