Yet decides not to, should that count as a loss? For example Nunes against Shevchenko. Or for example somebody is going to miss weight so they just don't show up at the weigh ins or even attempt a catchweight (Gastelum against Cerrone for example). Personally I think it should, it's like saying nah I changed my mind, I don't want to fight. Especially in the Gastelum case.

a couple years ago i remember someone early pregnant but still pregnant got cleared, getting cleared doesn't really mean anything

I like tournament rules. If a fighter pulls out week of the fight for whatever reason. You signed on the dotted line, yet you can't make the walk, you lost.

The only exceptions would be acts of God, e.g. earthquakes or Conor attacked them with a dolly. Anything related to training, weight cutting, personal health etc. = automatic loss. If you're not healthy enough to even make it to the cage, you're not healthy enough to win. Pure and simple.

What??? Are you sure??

If that's true it would be absolutely disgusting.

I vaguely remember that, she never fought tho I'm almost positive.

It's not like she was 7 months pregnant, she wasn't noticeably pregnant and some hillbilly commission didn't check.

It is pretty disgusting to try and fight while pregnant tho, if I found out my mom did that I would forever question the lack of braincells I have due to her ineptitude. Who knows what else this bitch did

Yair Rodrigues got fired for refusing 2 matchups, yet Nate Diaz has refused probably 10 or more. THE OUTRAGE

(dont reply to me cuz im just kidding)

Hormonal and other changes in pregnancy affect physical performance. In the first three months it is known that a woman’s body produces a natural surplus of red blood cells, which are well supplied with oxygen-carrying hemoglobin, in order to support the growing fetus.[1] Other potential advantages are obtained from the surge in hormones that pregnancy induces, predominantly progesterone and estrogen, but also testosterone, which could increase muscle strength. Increases in hormones like relaxin, which loosens the hip joints to prepare for childbirth, may have a performance-enhancing effect on joint mobility.[1] However it is also argued that the advantages would be outweighed by the drawbacks of morning sickness and fatigue, both of which are common in early pregnancy.[2]

Nate also gets to slap Dana. Favouritism!!!

Don't see it happening... A lot of circumstances could come up and cause the fighter to pull out.

True but in some cases, I mean if you just don't show up at the weigh ins and send out a stupid tweet saying you can't make weight... That should be a loss. It should be a case by case thing.
