A buddy told me that the best wrestlers are usually short and buff. anyone else think this is true? Or have there been any taller wrestlers who have been successfull

Every build has advantages & disadvantages, i don't think there is a best one. Short and buff is good due to lower centre of gravity.

I've seen so many cases where someone can make anything work. One of my classmates was tall and skinny... Hardly the physique you think of, when it comes to grappling, right? But the guy was a whiz at Hindu style wrestling, and was in-friggin-possible to gain control of.

My little cousin is a teeny-tiny little mouse. But her judo background, which shames mine, translated well into wrestling. She's become the petite hook-artist for her club, stretching out dudes who dwarf her.

P.S., I almost called my cousin a hooker, back there. :p
