Ideal situation is a double tourney.

Starting Dec/Jan do a tourney of the top 12 contenders (top 8 seeded plus four alternates) and do three shows for each division with the quarter, semi and finals.

This is assuming that DC isn’t defending against a contender prior to retiring.

DC is right tho... what's the point of fighting Gus again? There first ppv sold 250k. DC says he has 2 fights left in him... they are gonna be big fights and I don't blame him. Get the money and cash out. You know what I think happens? Brock Lesnar wins the first fight in Jan/Feb and they rematch in July for international fight week and retires with the HW belt.

It depends how his fight with Brock plays out. If its close and entertaining, then yes youre right on the money.

If he loses decisively, then he shouldnt get a rematch.

Yeah, and by that logic Conor is the FW & LW champ for eternity. Divisions have to move on if a fighter cant defend for any reason
