Social ICE snatches Wrong Teen — Now He’s in El Salvador’s Supermax with No Charges

I understand the people who want justice and rules to be followed.. truly, I get it.. but I don't know how those same people could justify unnecessary cruelty as part of that process.

The personnel who made this happen need to be investigated and removed from their positions.

There is due process regardless and being sent to a foreign gulag in a country you're not even from for the rest of your life for a civil offense is fucking insane and autocratic.

How can the US deport someone to a gulag? They have power to imprison a citizen from a different country in their own country?

So this individual wasn’t given the proper due process? It sound like they expedited his removal, which is legal as far as I understand. There is a few expedited processes that need to be fulfilled, are you saying he wasn’t given those processes and was thus illegally deported?

They just want to overlook these incidents.

They'll talk about slippery slopes elsewhere, but here, it's fine to just let this slide again and again.

And again and again.

In a couple of days a counter-piece will come out claiming with no evidence that this teenager is a serious threat and dangerous criminal, and the ones that want to let it slide will believe it without demanding context.

Everyone is brainwashed to support their “political team”, no matter what. Just wait sending something will happen where the other side does something crazy and then you’ll see those guys doing the same kind of defending on this thread. It’s a never ending cycle.

No. Everyone within our borders gets due process.

He was not given due process. Your understanding is wrong. How many times does it have to be said?

They do not, they are anyway and are close to being in contempt of court. No due process, it's unconstitutional which is why there's so much uproar.

Everyone is supposed to get due process. If it didn't work like this there's nothing stopping them from doing it to anyone else, including citizens born in the US.

Ok, we’ll see if his deportation was illegal, a judge will determine that.

I’ve not seen any statement or determination made about that. Could be missing it though.

All I can find is his family trying to get him back into the country?

Do you have a source other than that?

I wouldn’t really mind if it was simply deported, as I feel the majority of asylum seekers are just exploiting loopholes in an overly generous system,

But why in the world are they being sent to a prison and not just dropped back off in their home country as regular people and not prisoners without a trial?

The Supreme Court of the United States said that his deportation was illegal. Not that you care.

It's medieval shit, man.
