Ibjjf pay for referees and event staff?

I am curious to know how much does ibjjf pay its referees and event staff?

I think you have to be a IBJJF BB to be ref.

so it is about $18.75 per hour.

You could that much money doing a couple of hours (teaching private classes) if you were an IBJJF BB.

My buddy refs for them as a part time job.

I think they try to pick up local guys for events first, but if they need refs to travel, they do cover travel costs I believe.

Overall the pay is pretty solid. It's something like $20/hour like lechien said.

I know of several purple belt refs also, i'm not sure how the hierarchy of reffing works IE purple can ref purple and down etc.
