IBF Champ Steve Molitor vs. WBA Champ Celestino Caballero

Glad to see someone posted this. Although its not a surprise im happy its been finalized.

I believe Molitor will win a decision. I'm excited because Molitor is stepping up the level of competition.

Molitor wont be beating the Vasquez. Marquez and Lopez of the world but hes going to beat Caballero. And he'd box circles around Ponce De Leon.

This is a toughy... Just because Caballero is such a tall fuck at 122. And watching recent fights, he has become more technically skilled. Of course if this man was smaller, he wouldn't be as special, but he is tallest fuck I have ever seen in the division. He'll give the other champs a hard time because he is that tall, but I imagine Marquez and even vasquez would seal the deal with him. No guarantee with Molitor... Even though I like him

I like to say I like all the 122 champs right now. All are pretty damn skilled, physically gifted, or durable... Marquez, Molitor, Caballero, and Lopez... Of course Marquez is right there. Fun stuff. Any combination of those five fighters would be great.

Stylistically, boxers give Caballero problems. Because despite his reach, he still lunges often and goes bat shit crazy with combinations from time to time. Good boxing counter punchers give him hell. Cordoba (a guy that should be fighting for a title soon), gave Caballero a boxing lesson. Molitor has fair boxing skills. He can pull it off.

I say Marquez beats Caballero decisively. Vasquez sheer determination might rival that of Caballero's. Umm... Lopez? He has pretty good counter punching skills, but I'll be honest... Haven't really seen him enough. Embarassing De leon in a boxing match is not that hard when you have boxing skills, but literally destroying him was impressive to me. Speed and pop hurts. Like I said, the top 5 122s look really good and I cannot bet on anyone of them becoming undisputed. Hard call...

I give the edge to Caballero. That being said, I'm happy to see Molitor take on stronger competition and believe he has the skills to take a decision in this unification bout.

This should teach us (or at least me) a lot more about Molitor's status among the top 5 in the division.

this should be a very good fight, I'm hoping to be there, and I think Molitor will take a decision. Hopefully if he does win he gets marquez/vazquez/lopez or even ponce and they keep the fights at casino rama.

So I'm guessing they were able to fix that "same day weight in" problem with the Ontario Boxing Commission?

This is graduation day for Steve. Anyone who doubted him before, won't after this fight.

Molitor UD, and wide.

What have you got against Canadians?

Sam Langford was a Canadian, you know.

Oh, Dempsey feared the Canadian Langford...

Nothing against any country...unless I have to hear about how great they all are...without beating anybody.
