We might as well make it happen seeing as how we're gonna have to wait for Bisping vs GSP first and that might not happen until later in the year.
 
I dont understand why Gastelum just dont stay in middleweight. He fought two good fighters maybe not in their primes and He just raped them. I think he can easly be top 5 and who knows? Let him eat tacos all day and just stay at middleweight. He looks better there then in welterweight.
 
Fuck no....Romero shady as he is, should be next for a title shot after this Bisping-GSP shenanigans.....Gastelum should any of Jacare, Mousasi, Weidman and Rockhold.
 
Romero might not even be any taller than him, right?

Romero = 177.8 cm
Gastelum = 175.3 cm
So the slightest advantage of 2.5cm for Romero. Less than Vitor (182.9, diff: 7.4cm), Marquardt (182.9, diff: 7.6cm) and Kennedy (180.3, diff: 5cm) had on him.

Jacare is fighting Whitaker
Mousasi is fighting WeIdman
Rockhold seems to be on hiatus
 
You ever think how a lot of elite MWs have had cardio issues, almost moreso than any division other than HW? Romero, Jacare, and Weidman are known to gas. In the past, guys like Hendo, Lombard, Palhares and Belfort gassed like crazy. Anderson Silva was one of the few not to have cardio issues. Perhaps the size Gastelum gives up is more than offset by the benefits he gets in cardio over his 185 opponents. Romero would have a huge size edge, but Gastelum would have an enormous cardio edge.
 
Romero sons him imo. Tim and Vitor are decent wins, by name...but Tim hadn't fought in a million years, and Vitor is clearly out of his prime...remember Vitor's last two losses before Gastelum? Moose and Jacare both raped him.
 
Romero imo would win this 110%......... Both great fighters but look at the version of Belfort he beat, not to great of one. Romero is a whole different fight.

Gastelum dominated and finished them both however, it's not like he scraped by. I think his only nightmare matchups in that division are Weidman, Mousasi, Rockhold. I think he would do well against Romero and possibly even Jacare.

Oddly enough Whittaker would be tough as well even though he was a WW.

Don't get me wrong, he could also lose to any decent MW, but those are his almost unwinnable fights in my opinion.
 
Gastelum vs Whittaker is a VERY fitting fight IMO. It'll give Gastelum some time to rest properly as well.

Both are exciting too.

(Of course I mean that he'd fight Whittaker post-Jacare)

What is the facination with you guys wanting to see male on male sex?
 
I just want to see Gassy vs someone who is not on their way to the retirement home (if he plans on staying at 185).
