I want a total body change....

    I'm on my 2nd day of not smoking and gunna go on the wagon too, and i want to totally change my flabby body. i have a home gym, a climber and a treadmill.

    Good luck. Quitting smoking is hard, but it's much easier if it's done with some greater purpose (total lifestyle change) than by itself.

    Eat healthy and do a lot of jogging.


    You'll want to keep yourself busy to forget about your craving for nicotine.

    If you really want a 'total body change" you can achieve something of the sort in Thailand.

    Try Lyle McDonald's site and forum. It's much more geared towards body recomposition. S&P, er um, S&C, is specifically focused on strength and conditioning. And while that can have an effect on looking good naked or whatever, it's a side-effect to its purpose.

    If your primary goal is body changes, you'll probably have more success dieting the fat off while maintaining lean body mass through resistance training.

    Keep your fat, become a powerlifter. Theyre much less pussy' than everyone else.

    Yeah, running worked for me too, but then I got shin-splints to the point that I could no longer continue running. And then I started smoking again, and I've yet to be able to quit again.

    Well I could see how running did work for you, with a 1500 calories diet, no shit it did. Lindsay Lohan has more muscle and more understanding of a diet then you.

    Niko, add in lifting 3-4 days a week, add in some walking and increase as how you feel, get your diet in check and have credible sources (not e-guru's with little understanding of diet/nutrition). Find what maintenance is for you and cut it by 500. Adjust from there. Drink plenty of water.

    Read Endo's quote. He got shin splits, started smoking again and eats less then runway models.. he is an example of what not to listen to

    just smoke.. I love me some nicotine. theres nothing like sitting on your porch on a warm summer evening with a pack of cigarettes and a cooler full of beer
