I Thought Outside Of Competition...

    Referred to when a fighter wasn't licensed. Surely Jones was licensed to fight in Nevada at 4 weeks from the fight date, so wouldn't it be "in competition"? :icon_neut

    I cannot confirm if this is true, but I read it in another thread...

    In competition occurs 12 hours before the fight, to immediately after the fight.

    Interested to see how his post fight test looks.

    i heard (possibly josh gross' podcast) the same thing- 12 hours before and 12 hours after an event.

    If that was the case then fighters wiuldn't be able to take a lot of over the counter medication for their entire camp. It would make no sense.

    My apologies, but I would've thought that once someone was licensed, it would've been part of competition. Seems pretty damn stupid to me.

    Caffeine is banned in competition.

    Are you saying 4 weeks out fighters should not be allowed to drink coffee?
