I'm 30 and my 20 year old GF just broke up with me. We were together for 1 year and 6 months. Kind of a long time for a 20 year old to actually be faithful for that long. I think puppy love had something to do with it though. I treated her very well, and probably better than I should have looking back on it now. $100 dinners, expensive gifts, always paying for everything. But what I think was the real kicker was that she was an emotional wreck and I was always there for her. I mean this girl would start crying if her friends didn't text her back, but she was a total sweetheart and that's why I stuck it out. She also had major weight issues, and I am sure it didn't help that she was about 2-3 inches taller than me. She also weighed a little more. I am 5'6 130 she was probably 5'8 140. Super cute though.

Anyways she just kind of cut it off when I threw my creeper shades on, hit FB, and saw some recent pictures of her and some dude she was all over. Sitting on his lap, close hugs, that type of shit. I called her out on it and she came back with the "you can't even trust me" - "I'm not that type of girl" typical BS.

I had to say something because I can't put up with shit like "I love you, but I am going to sit on this guys lap I just met, and take photos knowing they are going on a huge social media web-site". She told me that she told him not to tag her because "she doesn't like being tagged in party pictures" riiiiight. I recently moved about an hour away for an Intelligence job so that didn't help either.

Moral of the story, no matter how awesome a 20 year girl can be, she won't be awesome to you forever. There is no exception, and I believe we got as close as we could possibly get.

Now I am by myself, not banging a 20 year old, in a big city, with really no way to meet people because I work so damn much. Please flood the thread with "all alone" pictures.

Good point. Chilling out is probably the hardest thing to do. Being the competitor that I am, I wanted to go out and find a girl right away because I feel like I lost.

Well, she sounded like a wreck, so it may not have been your fault totally. But you probably should have made your expectations more clear. If you are not into your girl being a slut in public maybe you should reconsider being ok with her partying without you. Of course if you see nothing wrong with her going out, thats up to you. But a cute 20 year old alone in club is tempting fate. Also, if you treat her like a queen, she better treat you like a king. And you need to make it clear that you are a king by acting like one. If she doesn't there is problem and she might even resent you for being nicer to her then she was to you. Women often find men who treat them as equals to be weak, and those who treat them well, repulsive, if they don't deserve such treatment. NOT saying you directly reward specific actions with specific rewards though, that is beta behavior. You don't earn good behavior from her because you buy stuff, that is just not how it works. If you try women will just take advantage of you and then bang the pool boy.

I think dating taller chicks is tempting fate itself. Seems to go against nature. Not saying I don't find amazons attractive though.

I kind of knew towards the end, the height thing was playing a major factor as she told me late in the relationship she preferred taller guys. I should have known. I was recently told from a friend that the best relationships work out when both people are mentally, and financially at the same level. If they are off then it will probably not work out. But ya, you make some solid points.
