He just stood there and got pummeled thinking he would just endure all those strikes and guess what, instead moving away and avoiding damage he literally went into the fire and got burned. I think if he rematches Jan again, he better be ready to run back when the polish power launches his assaults or he would get dropped and slept again. What did u think?

He's never been knocked out before.
Maybe he relied too much on his steel chin.

Not sure if it's overconfidence though. His standup is just inferior to Jan.

Reyes Is legit and capable of winning a rematch for sure. If you rewatch the fight you’ll see Reyes is a very good counter striker who was just a couple inches away from putting Jan down in the first.

Eventually Reyes wins that fight due to natural aging and degradation from Jan, but as of now Jan is the more technically superior fighter with big power and deceptive speed.

He got impatient after getting outclassed at range, he needs to develop his skillset so if that happens again he can rely on a clinch to slow the fight down.

I would pick Reyes in rematch, Jan is a great fighter though.

I see it going more or less the same, reyes showed his skills set during the bout and I just dont see him getting dub unless he comes out of nowhere with a td and jan cant get out of it, which is highly unlikely imo.

I love reyes and am still heartbroken by his loss to JJ but that shit was funny. While I understand what he's trying to say its just a funny fucking way to describe your innate intangibles

Jan is just the better fighter. Reyes is over hyped because of all the Jon haters. Never thought he'd win that fight

He should definitely work on not getting his opponent's foot tattooed on his body in the future

Overconfidence doesn't explain why he had no answer to Jan's body kick. If he was overconfident then he would've head hunted more, but he became hesitant and lost any confidence he had. Jan is just the better fighter.

I still can’t believe how much Jan fucked Reyes up. That boy broke his nose, bruised the fuck out of his body and made him do the chicken dance. It really was a brutal beating.

I thought the reason that Reyes lost had more to do with Jan being a more complete striker and hitting harder. Reyes while faster looked pretty basic in his striking.

I think Reyes was compromised early by Jan's kicks. Dom recognized he was falling well behind in attrition and tried to force heated exchanges. He was able to do that, it just did not end well. IF Jon is no longer a lhw, I think Jan and Dom are the 2 best guys in the division.

You mean to tell me that Dom didn't know he wasn't supposed to get hit? Lol.

I picked Jan to win. He's underrated and styles make fights.

Reyes was too physically weak, Jan was like a fort and Reyes was a sand castle in comparison.
