is it a classical Japanese symbol? I know it means "attitude, discipline, family, honor, loyalty, respect" with the center being the spirit of the samurai with each point one of the attributes. Is this an invention of Saulo and Xande or has it existed. I really like what it stands for, and if I ever got a Jiu-Jitsu tat (I likely won't) this seems like a cool one, BUT.

1. I think it would be corny to get it if I do not train under them.

2. Yeah I just think I'm done with getting tats. But I'm still curious, because it's very clever.

Ignore the words. Just check out the symbol.

AFAIK its not a japanese symbol, just something the Ribeiro Bros came up with.

One of their students did it. I forget which student, but Saulo said it.
