I still can't believe the way the new UFC owners put the shank in Chuck

Seriously it's a disgrace the way IMG and Ari Gold pretty much put a prison style shanking on Chuck. They sideswiped him. No courtesy, no eye contact. Just a couple of stabs to the back. You don't do that to a guy who practically built the UFC brand with his blood . But then again what do you expect from Hollywood/Los Angeles types like Ari and the rest of the IMG bunch. Is there more of a disloyal, backstabbing, fake culture than Hollywood?

Without Lorenzo, Chuck would be homeless someplace or dead from meth. The UFC is so loaded with debt now it needs to cut the welfare cases.

Prizefighting is about the purses, after the bout is over the promoter owes you jack shit.

He won't get paid to make a fist and look at the camera any more, one time during each event.

Chuck's my favorite fighter of all time and I know he was vp of business development and Matt Hughes was vp of athlete development. But does anyone know whether they did any work or were they just charity cases from Dana after retirement?

    Welcome to the McUFC.
Hype jobs rule, Twitter skills are more important than mma skills, title shots are popularity contests, and the legends who built the sport's biggest promotion can go fuck themselves.

Not surprised. I think amny called this before it happened. Chuck, Forrest and Hughes got an albibi job because they were BFF with Dana and the Fertittas and because it kept them from competing in other organizations.

I wonder if it would have saved them taxes to just gift them a few bucks each year instead of having them "work"

Didn't Forrest Griffin get to keep his job because he actually showed up to work?

Charity cases from Dana. I love Chuck, but I highly doubt he was making any real impact in his VP role.
