I received a new phone

I had a two year plan with fido that expired. the last phone they gave me was a sony xperia m2. i had some problems charging the phone and decided i would use my free fido dollars that i saved up to get a new phone until my contract expired.

so i sold my xperia 2 months ago and got a huawei y6. the Huawei y6 had similar specs / ram / storage / processor but was slightly uglier and was not water resistant as the Xperia was. it wasnt a great phone but did its job during the 2 months remaining on my last contract.

yesterday the remaining 2 months was up and i received my new phone for signing a new 2 year contract. thankfully i was able to keep my old plan because their new plans are not as good.

so i was tempted to get the samsung galaxy s7 edge but it would have costed me approx. extra $400. i instead opted to go with the free LG G4.

The LG G4 is a premium phone, and has quad hd resolution (2560x1440), a 16 megapixel camera, which is one of the best available, a 1.8ghz hexa core processor, 3gb of ram and 32gb of storage.

its not much worse than the new phones spec wise and considering its free with a contract makes it an amazing deal.

what type of phone do you use? do you like it?

Did you get the leather one?
 
iPhone 6. It's decent and since I use an iPad often, it suits me well.
 
i cancelled my at&t service since i got a new phone from work. at&t rapes you when you want to end your contract. i use a blackberry. it's good enough for me. i don't really care about having a fancy phone.
 
I have a Samsung Galaxy s5. It's been a good phone but I'm getting rready for something new.
 
hey . i have the same phone as vrooomy. thats great. i'm on fido also and have 6g data and unlimted text and calling for 85/month
 
The hell is Fido? Is that like a wireless carrier for poor people?

Fucking love this phone. I've dropped it at least 15 times. No damage.
It's fallen in crude oil/water mix like 4 times. I just poured dawn on it and washed it off and it was like nothing ever happened. I'm sticking to the Active line from now on.
 
My Motorola V3 is almost 10 years old. Aside from replacing the battery it's been fine. I don't understand the need for a new phone so often. Friends have said that their phones start acting up about the time their 2 year contracts expire. I suspect that their carriers can simulate phone problems to get them to take another 2 year contract.
 
Curious to see what the iPhone 7 brings to the table.

galaxy note 3,theres nothing that blows it out of the water,so i'll keep it for a bit longer.

Heard they're saving the really cool stuff for iPhone 8 in 2017, skipping the 7s. 10 year anniversary and all that.

That would be sweet. I just want a better camera and vid capabilities. I wish they would go back to iOS 6 UI :(
 
Came in expecting the birth of the Hillary-phone.

Disappoint.
