I prefer Berine but Hillary will be better

I just can't like anything about her. I know too much about her I feel. But yes no matter who gets the Democratic nomination there will face absurd levels of obstruction. I just think Sanders actually has the intentions of helping people whereas Hillary is only doing this to fulfill her own egotistical ambitions. It has nothing to do with the GOP like soa(who does nothing but lie and make up absurd shit) says.
I agree Hillary is doing it for her ambitions. I am not saying she will win.

But in terms of working with congress which seems it will be mandatory because it will probably be a republican house. I think a seasoned politician will be better.

I really thought Obama could do the change he talked about. But he couldn't he just wasn't that good for a politician. He didn't take advantage of a democratic house. And he couldn't work with republicans because republicans didnt want to work with him.

Face it whoever has to deal with a republican congress needs to be a manipulator, a person who can make others do what they dont want to do. And I am sure Hillary probably has a lot of republican favors in her pocket. Plus she is a nut for a aggressive foreign policy at least more so than Bernie.

Bernie wants to be president to make the US better. However can he really get congress to work with him? Can he really pass a tax rise against a republican congress? A single payer healthcare system through a republican congress? A defense cut?

IMO he doesn't have that political capital Hillary has.

In a perfect world president Sanders will make real change. But it is not a perfect world and you need a manipulative politician and who is that Hillary or Bernie?

How am I a troll and you are not delusional?

Anyone with a brain can see that more of the Democrats in office and the party as a whole like Hillary more not to mention she is more like (Obama) in some ways with centrist outlooks. How does that make me delusional? Sanders OWN party isn't throwing the level of support behind him like they are Hillary!!

Get real dude and smell the coffee. It is laughable that you think the GOP which calls Obama a 'communist' will somehow accept Sanders who calls himself a Democratic 'socialist'. the GOP will be able to probably get close to billion dollars to spend for the general election. Just imagine the negative ads they will run against him.

But it seems that you need a politician not a idealist or revolutionary. That is why Hillary will be better.
............
Most likely congress will be majority republican. This means that you need someone that knows how to play the political game. And Hillary can do that plus she is not a centrist not a leftist.
..............

I think Hillary being a Washington insider knows how to play the game better than Bernie.
I disagree. You don't think Bernie knows how to politick? He has much more experience in Congress than Hillary. For many years, he wasn't seen as a leftist dem, he was an independent, free to cross the aisle to get things done that those on the right could agree with some on the left, usually in the form of amendments. For this reason he is known as the Amendment King.

Left vs Right is an oversimplification, there are somethings that the far left and far right agree on more than either with the centers of their respective parties, and that is where Bernie will shine. If either dem would be gridlocked for 4 or 8 years, I'd much rather have the one that will do what they can to get money out of elections, get some reforms in wall street, reform criminal justice etc. issues some of the far right can agree on than the one that will do nothing and try to get some meager compromises done.

HRC is such a divisive figure she will get obstructed by the majority in congress just to fuck her over, just like they are doing to BO.

I say it because Sanders does not have many centrist positions and the GOP already considers Hillary 'too far left'. See 2008 and the attacks against Hillary. Not to mention Sanders own party (The Democrats) aren't really embracing him and this is best evidenced by the lack of endorsements from Democrat Governors, Senators, Congressmen, and other party officials. Not to mention his lack of endorsements by the "superdelegates". It really says a lot when you are this crazed and you can't even realize that the party Sanders is running for has failed to endorse him to the level that Hillary has And you expect him to get "more done" when his own party doesn't even largely support him?

By the way Hilary won the Popular vote in the 2008 Democratic primary but Superdelegates helped Obama win so you should feel some sympathy for Hillary and realize the system isn't 'rigged'.

You forget how long Bernie Sanders has been in politics and has had to work with both Democrats and Republicans. But to you that counts for nothing. Superdelegates don't want anything to do with him because it takes the power out of the hands of politicians and the corporate elite and puts it firmly back in the hands of the people. Republicans hate Hillary. End of discussion. There is no one that they hate and would be less willing to work with more than her.

The system is very rigged but are too young and naïve to wake up and smell the coffee.

What you are saying makes no sense. He is a Senator from a state that is 98% white, and has only 500,000 people. I mean get real dude.

Jeb Bush a Governor for like 10 years of Florida makes a better case having had to work with people. You also, ignore that Clinton is from a much more diverse state. but hey this thread isn't about Hillary its now about how truly warped your mind is. You fail to realize that half the GOP already considers Obama a 'communist' and you now expect them to work and embrace Bernie and 'feel the Bern'?

LOL you need a reality check.

And now you fail to realize that super-delegates= party officials and politicians.

Do you realize how long Bernie Sanders has been a politician? He has Been in politics for over 30 years. You could make the argument that Sanders is more seasoned than she is. As far as Obama goes I feel he was way too willing to relent on a number of issues and never intended of actually delivering all of the "hope and change" that he promised.

Face it whoever has to deal with a republican congress needs to be a manipulator, a person who can make others do what they dont want to do. And I am sure Hillary probably has a lot of republican favors in her pocket. Plus she is a nut for a aggressive foreign policy at least more so than Bernie.

That just falls completely apart though. As a voter why should I pass on the candidate who is better in every way, and instead vote for a woman who is more willing to concede to the Republicans and by your own words is a "nut for aggressive foreign policy". You basically saying well there is no use so just settle for Hillary Clinton. I don't subscribe to that sort of defeatist attitude. the political revolution Only starts with Sanders and actually requires people to be continually involved in politics and help change the Senate and House of Representatives. There are already politicians who align with Sanders viewpoints who are planning to run for office.

It would be cool if she picked Bernie as a VP. He could then be designated to work on special projects.
I can't believe I hadn't thought of this.. it would make a lot of political sense for her because if he doesn't get the nod, all of these energized young supporters may either not go to the polls or vote for Jill. Bernie as VP would probably solidify her win.

And you fail to acknowledge that Sanders is from New York Brooklyn of all places and has a long history of working in civil rights movements in places like Chicago. I will also guarantee you that when it comes time for New York to vote, they will vote Sanders. I don't expect any of the Republicans to embrace any a Democrat so quit Trying to make it sound like a problem that only Bernie will face. Their time is limited as America continues to grow more and more liberal. The people will speak and we will do everything in our power to continue to put the right pieces in place for Sanders to get things done. You say that I need a reality check that your the one who thinks Jeb Bush has a better case of working with people.

HAHAHAHAHA You're a clown

I think a seasoned politician will be better.

Bernie is a very seasoned politician. He only lacks the foreign policy experience of a Sec of State.

Do you really think Hillary will be able to manipulate a GOP majority congress? Can you provide some examples of when she manipulated to get things done against the political tide?

That is a good point a independent in congress is a lonely soul.

I guess maybe Bernie can play the game better the Hillary. I guess I was just slightly disappointed by Obama. And it seemed to me he couldn't because he just couldn't navigate Washington politics.

I will look at Bernie's voting record and see how successful he was at congress.

Either way I am a Bernie fan over Hillary. But more importantly I want someone who can get things done. And in my experience idealism is not always the weapon in politics.

I couldnt find the numbers on Bernie but some blogs say he enjoy greater bipartisan support than Hillary.

For Hillary politfact states she gets 30% Republican support for bills passed as senator. So she is not that good.

So i could very well be wrong.

A lot of us were disappointed by Obama. He may have been too idealistic and found himself ill-suited to gutterfighting. Maybe he was too concerned with trying to compromise and reach across the aisle for unity when he didn't even need to. I don't know.

Here is a pro-Bernie piece about his track record on amendments, many of them bipartisan. http://www.alternet.org/election-20...shing-through-major-reforms-will-surprise-you

Give us some examples of Obama "reaching across the aisle for unity" (unless that was sarcasm). Obamacare, iran deal, stimulus. I'm drawing a blank

my wife is interviewing bernie for Univision here in Las Vegas today. True story. Unfortunately, she won't let me help her with the questions

I think, if one of these two had to win, it would be better for Bernie to win.

Why?

Hillary is going to continue Obama's snake-like policies, and grind the country into a worse position.

Bernie is going to nose-dive into the mountains, and people will never elect another leftist democrat for 20+ years.

That's pretty cool if true. My family watches Univision. What's her name???
