Dilly goes to war, and Cejudo hesitates and chokes. Both are world class, and Cejudo will not be the next Champ Champ - likewise, Dilly has shown no ambitions to the 145lb title.

I'd give Cejudo about a 5% chance of winning.

Would a 135 Cejudo be able to wrestle fuck TJ?

    He might.

Cejudo could put Dilly in hot water with his intensity and striking, but Dilly brings intensity in spades.
I would love to see this because I think it would be a beautiful war.

Could you imagine Dillashaw vs Aldo, Holloway, or Ortega? Lmao, he would be smoked!

Also Cejudo is faster, and just doesn't throw 15 hook combinations with his chin in the air like Cody.

Also is a much better wrestler than TJ.

TJ would destroy both DJ and Cejudo at 135.

    Lots to umpack!
    1. Dilly vs Aldo. Aldo's looked terrible lately. Dilly beats the Aldo who lost to Holloway twice, and put on a bunker against Hominick. Then again, the Aldo that smashed Edgar, Florian, Mendes, Lamas, Faber, and Cub, that Aldo beats everybody you named but Ortega might give him a few size oriented issues. I think it can go either way. Before the Holloway loses revealed Jose a step slower than he used to be, I wouldn't have given The Dill a chance.
    2. Holloway is a money fight, but I think he's better aiming at a Khabib fight, a Conor rematch, a Diaz fight, something in that order. Holloway, ever since waking up from the Conor loss, gained that intensity that Dilly gained in his "fluke" title win, and turned the world upside down. I think Holloway wins by size and reach while matching in most other areas. The Dillster is fighting an uphill battle here for sure, and I don't think he could readily win unless there were a shenanigan such as Holloway sprains his ankle during a stance switch or something.
    3. Ortega's a big dude, and a really tough dude, but he's also a really stubborn dude, and I think he can do to Ortega what he did in his title defense tonight. It goes either way, but I think it favors Dillymania.

Dilly would have smashed through Mouse easy, and I can see why Mouse refused to make the superfight. Funny how many who insisted Dilly should drop the other 10lbs didn't think Borg Justino should drop 10 more to face Ronda at 135, but hypocrisy is a strange animal. I like superfights when the fighters in question have some kind of mutual parity, where either one could believably win. I don't see anyone calling for Whittaker vs Cormier, or Khabib v Colby/Tyron. We just need to have realistic expectations - Jones vs any of Werdum, Cain, Reem, or JDS would have been epic wars that Jones could win. In the other direction of weight, I don't see any lighter champion beating Jones.

So silly my nilly fo really. All about the Dilly - War Wagon, TOOT TOOT!!

TJ brings so much more power, and he is a much better wrestler than DJ. Cejudo gets knocked out.
